P90X Challenge Fit Your Life

What I wanted to talk about today, though, was something I’ve learned about P90x Workout success and that’s making sure exercise fits into your life and not that your life has to mold to fit exercise.Having to struggle with my weight in the past 15 years of my life, I was curious how I was able to shed all those pounds and still look healthy. Surely it was not just plain dieting, nor something drastic like going under the knife. When I decided to take on the p90x fitness challenge, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to squeeze the workout into every single day, especially with work trips and BlogHer and family time on the calendar.

I talked it over with my family and they said something really inspirational to me, which was, “Just because you can’t do it perfectly doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try it at all.”So after a few e-mails to each other and short, quick conversations,I let myself in on how and why I decided to lose weight.P90X is a 12-video series from BeachBody that promises to take a body from roly-poly to ripped in 90 days. It incorporates strength training, yoga, plyometrics, karate, stretching and abdominal work.

The key to fitness P90x workoutis muscle confusion, which uses a variety of exercises to prevent the dreaded plateau effect and encourage muscle growth. The regimen also includes a nutrition plan, fitness guide and a calendar to track progress. Dumbbells, a chin-up bar and resistance bands can be incorporated but are supplied by the user.His “plan” for the next month is to complete P90X .I started with the 10 Minute Trainer, a program that teaches you how to get a full workout in ten minutes a day. After trying the program, I realized that I can do times three of the workouts. In a month, I worked MY way up to thep90x fitness.However, just like those who are trying to lose weight, I face a number of challenges along the way.
